The meeting will be held in the Marriott Hotel in Kendall Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The hotel is easy walking distance from the campus of MIT. There is an entrance to Boston's Red Line subway rail system just outside the door of the hotel, making a car unnecessary.

The group rate of $129 per night (plus applicable taxes) was held for us through mid-July 2004. You can still try pleading with them for a reasonably priced room for your stay at the conference, but there are no longer any guarantees. If they refuse you, your least expensive option at this point might be to look for a Bed and Breakfast inn a bit further out on the Red Line subway -- perhaps near Davis Square in Somerville.
